DF1 Server up!
 

Hey guys! I noticed this place is still active. Just thought I'd drop by and let as many people know about a DF1 server up and running for nostalgic purposes.

Would love to catch people in the server. I know it is a long shot seeing as how the game is 16 years old but its worth a shot.

I just started a twitter account to try and keep things up to date if anybody would like to follow. People can tweet other IP's to join as well.

There is definitely something about the game.

You can set up a free clansite of your own on Enjin where there are many more ex DF1 players hanging around.

I was thinking about a website indeed. The thing is though, I wanted to see if there was any interest before I put forth the time and money.

I'll make a date where we can all commit to playing. It is rather difficult to randomly stumble upon people playing. :nerd:

Port number to join? I didn't need one.

If we are talking about ports you need to open in your router/gateway, then:

TCP Any -> 3100
TCP Any -> 3568
TCP Any -> 3999
UDP Any -> 3100
UDP Any -> 3568
UDP Any -> 3999

Some routers/gateways actually have Delta Force 1 already there for you to select.

Let me know if that helps.

Tried forward port range 3100 - 3999 TCP/UDP IP 173.55.168.47 with no result.

I can see your server but still no connection.

Make sure you are not joining through the lobby. It simply just doesn't work.

I have quite literally opened up the whole range of DF1 ports and enabled DMZ host on the server. Even still, I get the black screen. In the past, opening ports and DMZ host always worked. But now, not so much.

Joining with the above method works. I have tested it with another computer outside of the local network.

Let me know if that works. Now I'm a bit worried.

Hey it works fine for me :) . I forwarded the ports tcp and udp 3100-3999 in both modem and router and i can see and join the game without problems.

Through lobby? Or through the ^ screenshot above method? Glad its working for you.

I don't know why it wouldn't be working. So long as the ports are open and DF1 is up to date. :(

I have a lot of free time this weekend and Monday and Tuesday for Spring Break.

A website is in the works dedicated specifically to DF1. Hopefully enough old timers stumble upon it and decide to fire it up for old times sake.

We will be hosting an event this summer. I am making this date far enough in advanced so that people can get their Delta Force game situated and ready. I am hoping more people show up.

Maps: Cycled 3 stock maps
There must be over 6 players not including myself (7 total plus).

The July 26th event has a prize attached; $25. It is small, but that is all I am willing to put up for right now.

Hope people can make the May event. I had posted this awhile ago @ www.df1lobby.com, but I wanted to post it here as well.
