Novaworld Forum Problems
 

anyone having probs w/ the novaworld forums? when i go, it says "welcome back, bandos" - i've never used that name. if i log out and in, my proper name is in the login (killerwolf666) and i can't see "bandos" anywhere in my profile, but it reverts to calling me that when i log back in. also, i can't go anywhere from the forum Default page - it just refreshes/redirects me there.

i wrote all this to a mail at novalogic tech support, then that bombed out w/ an error and would't let me go back to cut and paste etc. needless to say, no tech support mail add of novaworld either - not very impressive.

there is a few members around here who can contact the mods over there, hopefully someone will see this and pass on your info.

it could mean some Novaworld change they way of the forum name to the log-in name and it seem maybe some one use your account and change the players name listed in it.

i would change the password asap
before some one other change it for you as in your prefile was change for unknown reason. change your password a must

you can change your password forum setting there and the forum name can be change ask the forum admin there they be happy to help you in this

changed the password and account login, when i try to change the forum login bit i just get a Novaworld error message :-/

h ow to i get in touch, i can't see any links to contact anyone like tech support/admin.

you click-on their names on the left in the forum uder their forum name.

then you get a option to add them to your buddy list and PM them

When I log in, it says "Welcome, Christopher!", but my actual in-game name is Chrispy. Unless you're meaning something else.

Contact the mods on the NovaWorld forums and they may be able to help you out.

like i said, i can't get in the forums, it refreshes me constantly back to the Default page.

chrispy ~ yeah, i got a different game ID name too, but the fact is it was calling me Bandos which is nothing i've ever used (still is, even after changing the stuff above).

same thing under IE6, tried incase Firefox had a cookie prob or summat, try to click on the Edit forum details" adn just get "NovaWorld Error

u tried clearing ur cookies etc? i know that sumtimes on other websites old cookies etc can cause issues like that

Ah, I get what you mean now. Sorry I thought you meant when you logged in the game. You mean the site.

Yep, try clearing your cookies. That's all I can think of.

just zapped the cookies, still thinks i'm bandos, still errors that page. tch. might just give up and create a new profile altogether... :-/
