AMD Atholon X2 5000+ / Runs Warm? Topic Summary: What is the normal operating temp for this chip? im a bit confused. im planning to purchase an amd athlon x2 3800+ and an asus a8n-sli premium mobo for it. the cpu has 2000mhz fsb and my freind told me that I need a 64x version of windows. What are all the differences. Are all these different brand.

Ive got an AMD X2 4200+ 2.2gHz and an Asus M2N Sli motherboard, still not sure what you want to know though ;P
