How to get a picture of your score...

Bascally all you need to do is press the "Print Screen" key when the game scores are on the screen.

you will have to check Player options to see which key i is set to.

In DFLW the key is F9 or F12
In DFTFD the key is F9

but please check your player options / key configuration :)

the screen print is then automatically saved in your game folder and has a name like SS0001.pcx or SS0145.pcx ( depending on how many pics u take ).

now you require a piece of software that allows you to view .pcx files :/ most good graphics progs like Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and open this file type or u can use a viewer like ACDSEE etc ( there are lots of free ones - go to http://www.downloads.com and look for image viewers
http://download.com.com/3000-2192-31...ml?tag=lst-0-2
http://download.com.com/3000-2192-96...ml?tag=lst-0-2
).

if you want to save the image as a gif or jpg so u can post the image here, then u will need some software like Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, or if you don't I'm sure you know someone who as and will be willing to convert them for you.

[ if anyone knows the keys for df1, df2 and dfbhd plz reply and i'll add them to the list :D ]

DF1 = shift + p
DF2 = i
LW = F9
TF = F9
BHD = Scroll Lock

How would i post the image of my screen capture on this forum? And save it as jpg or gif?

Scott 04-05-2003 10:55 PM

Did you take the time to read StevieB's post above? It's there for a reason.

[img_ ]url address to pic you posted up [/img_]

remove the _ it will work
below is a free tool to use

Mihov Image Resizer 0.7
From the developer: "Mihov Image Resizer is good for three things:
1.) resizing images in JPG, GIF, and BMP formats, including smooth resize,
2.) converting images between GIF, BMP, and JPG formats, and
3.) rotating images for 90 degrees to left or right (BMP, GIF, JPG).
The program does all three things in batch mode, so the user has to click only once to change many images. It can be very helpful for the owners of digital cameras to rotate pictures or reduce file size for sending the picture via e-mail. The new version comes with a huge language pack (now more then ten languages are supported), some fixes, and small improvements."
Free to use as you like

ummm....
in BHD there's a function to export the scores as a TEXT file
(press 's' when the scores show up)
it doesn't look as pretty, but it's a lot easier to post
(and even easier to fake :rolleyes: )

Hellfighter 04-07-2003 08:23 PM

yea can't you take a screen shot of the score? pic's don't lie

sorry, i don't want to sound like a smartass, but you have to realize that you can't take anything for granted.

i was just providing a simpler alternative

and see what happened to the pic in my attachment?
2 minutes editing, thats what happened

all it take is 1min or 2min to post your score
1.) good place to post it is:"postup your score (upload it up) " after copy link to it, will showup after its done loading up.
2.) infront of link add in [_img] then your link (past in)to it after this point [_/img] in your message post here or any were in the forum
3.) forumated .jpeg/.jpg/.gif

Remove the Under line "_" it will work in [_img] & [_/img] make it read able so its not hard to see the score
thats listed on it

Pic don't lie not like text it can be edited to any score a person like to fake it as how it reads

remarks: i am not going to post a score here,i have not breaking a 100pts.playing this fool thing most i gotting at one given time is 50kills.

Nev 05-16-2003 06:10 PM

Thanx for the help...So i post them in the forum and someone will put them on the website huh?
I have tons and tons of really good screen shots...Is there a limit>?

Warlike 01-19-2004 07:47 PM

Well anything can be faked if so desired, but to be honest what's the point? Same question I ask of ppl who use cheats, if you can't do it for real, why bother?
