Nova suspension.. strange
 

If any of you was on Novaworld lately. Any mention of me up there?
I would like to know why I was suspended. I asked them about it and got no replies for 2 weeks.

Who looks after their emails? loyal gold members? maybe I've been set up or something?

Even if I did something wrong, a first-time suspension is worth 2 weeks?!? I smell a ban here. WTF did I do?

by the look of it they are forcing me to buy new cd-keys. I'm pretty sure my account is my property, although Nova has rights to what I can say and do, but to force you to buy, I think it's illegal in the states.

to be frank I don't miss online play at all. I purchased these games off steam and only played for like 5 or 6 hours online in total, months ago, so barely touched them.

I take it Nova is so far in the hole they don't even have time to check their email often or even make sure everything they do respects user agreements for that matter.

there can be many reason mostly other say your cheating or hate your gut so much they report you and nova automatic suspend the account if they get a lot of people cry about it to them! a lot of good skill player were remove do to this one main reason cry baby's without any skills.

they get a hell of a lot of report in so many they will suspend the account first then check into it.

but good news thatch only one of 3-4 charter names be suspended.

all so if you spam or make hateful reply s posting in novaworld forum that all so get account suspend same for the game account they are tie together! could get banned all together!

if the game is modded and you log-in to a stats server (novaworld server) you can get banned totally
very hard to get unbanned chance 2% get unbanned

don't log-in for 90days ether the novaworld forum or game can get account totally remove as in inactive, but good new it has a better chance get reactive but lose all the stats that were gain

You know, I have a feeling that I might have been targetted by a bunch of spammers. A while ago I posted an open warning to spammers who are embedding hidden flash objects in my threads (some are adult contents). Of course, the moment I said it, they all started removing it, I figure they might even have gotten together and reported me. This whole thing is corrupt.

And I'm not good enough of a player for others to accuse me of cheating lol. You will find me mostly in coop servers anyways.

The matter stays the same, I don't know the real reason they suspended me, I have only my guesses. I dunno if people wanna vouch for me and ask Nova about me. I suggest not, they might suspend you too.

I've been with DFLW 11 years. Prior to the NovaLogic/Novaworld venue move, they were receiving quite alot of complaints concerning Players, Servers, Nova World Lobbies, and Novalogic its self. At some point they got tired of listening to all the Pro's & Con's of it all and decided to exercise their "END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT" [INCLUDED WITH ALL THEIR SOFTWARE/GAMES]. Think of it as, "you're not the only one this happened to"! It may not resolve your issue, or make you feel better. However, I suggest to "ride out the storm". Then do as you will to re-enter whatever lobby you're wanting to get back into.
It's no fix for you, but, I doubt any "quick fix" is on the Horizon.

some time's it best not to name other there! in novaworld forum and best report them to the moderator of the forum (report abuse option) name other off like you did can start a flamewar going. even if it true what they did! don't make it right to start a flamewar going, be a bet wiser how to handle things there less trouble for you and leave them clueless who reported them to the moderator there.

only thing i think you were trying to get pride by shouting off your mouth there! like as in> " see i found (player/ forum) name this fool doing this and that" it some time can backfire on one self too" you only asking to get flame at or start trouble there. i read some of your threads there and reply's too.

next time use the report abuse option there kk
less trouble with other there, spammer, porn sound track or trolls...etc report them and say why! mod catch on there real fast!

sample some one put into their sig/box an porn ads or sexual act sound track flash format! (that leave nameless here) report them and leave it to the moderator or admin to handle it there! less ppl getting tickoff and you have no trouble come your way!

I agree with Obraino here ...

Nova probably doesn't want too many ripples in their waters. They probably barly oversee the gaming on multi-player servers and on their forums. If anything, Nova would probably suspend anyone who had any type of complants against them and then ask about the infractions latter (no matter how small the infrations maybe).
I feel for you on being suspended, but it's best to not flame on NOVA servers ... you'll find that you can never win when you feed the trolls.

JMHO... but unless you're a GOLD member, then you really don't matter to Nova.

Even though you may have bought the game, NOVA ultimatly can control what you do online with their product.

And no ... it's not illegal here in the States ... this all falls under the same rules ... buyer Beware !

There you go then.... Become a gold member, you get your status back ..perhaps?? and test the waters for us VERY poor people..lol

tell you the truth don't use novaworld.com forum it sh*ts to start with and only mainly spammers live there, novalogic, inc really can careless about you or whats harping in novaworld forum totally!

play the game and stay away from novaworld internet forums

in there forum you have a better chance getting your account banned totally, once mouth let lose it over with, the hand is quicker then the eye come to typing things up! making remarks about thing in their forum.

Better to play on Xfire...lol

Better to play SP where there's no screaming, whinny, name calling, vulgar mouthed, unsupervised 12 year olds.
