Farewell
 

Had to say good bye to my grandpa yesterday. :(

He died at age 73 peacefully in the hospital with grandma holding his hand.

R.I.P gramps....

Sorry to hear that man, I lost my grandad last year too. Hope you remember the good times.

SK, I assume you have more grandparents? Was this the first one to pass away?

actually this is the first, sorta, he was my step grandfather from my dads side of the family. my biological grandfather died in a fire before I was born. :(

I had alot of good memories with him....

I'm more concerned for my gandma tho, she lives alone now and this is really tearing her up.

I'm sorry to hear that.

My grandpa on my dads side died before I was in pre-school, the sad part is I only have one memory with him, riding on his lap driving a tractor and he pulls a pair out and hands it to me. That's it, you had far more memories with your grandpa I'm sure, I feel bad for you.

RIP man. =/

Well, at least it was peaceful and not a painful one. :(
