Yeah, I saw that a few days ago. If anything, it will probably be a Vietnam War remake. :)

China vs Taiwan, DF performs missions behind enemy lines to support the independance of Taiwan, would be a very good game...

Why does DF xtreme require online connection for lan play
 

I see no reason why DFX requires online connections for LAN play. To me this requirement appears to be the ultimate in spyware (even if it isn't meant to be).

Unless there is a fix provided to disable this requirement, I am not likely to buy any more games from Novalogic.

Had I looked closer at the LAN requirements, I would not have purchased DFX.

Having many copies of DF2, JO typhoon rising, and JO escalation, you will be losing revenue from at least three persons...and DFX looked promising...

most games are doing that now bro. half life 2 won't even let u play single unless u have online access it the way of the future and theres nothing we can do to stop that.
