Red Jake Studios has been hard at work building a new game based on the Delta Force franchise. RJS presents to you an all-original title that is inspired by classic FPS games of the late 1990s and early 2000s: Task Force Elite!
As old school gamers that idolize the golden era of PC shooters from the late 1990s and early 2000s, we were unhappy with all of the FPS titles currently on the market in 2019. For us, nothing captured the feel or shooting mechanics of golden era FPS titles. We wanted a military-themed FPS game that’s easy to pick up and play, with lots of depth. A game with: •Easy gun handling •Realistic ballistics •The ability to walk for miles/kilometers around the map and snipe a target from a mile away (with bullet drop) •Designated spawn points and polished level design (because we hate when enemies randomly spawn behind us) •Making custom maps and playing them with your friends •Classic game modes, like TDM, TKOTH, CTF, and more •Dedicated servers •Mod support This game is made for YOU GUYS. I can't find the game on steam and things are all ready to go.
Add I can find is a game called Task Force which doesn't resemble Task Force Elite at all. Does anyone have a url to the correct steam store page? |
OK SRY - What's needed is to add the alpha key to the activate product widget in the steam client not the store.

Yes I have played the alpha Steve but to be fair, as an alpha tester I should keep quiet about it and it could also be a bit of a spoiler for someone down the track if I was to mention anything in particular at this stage.
SRY :dontknow: If the devs gave the OK then that would be a different story Steve but I'm not clear on that point so for now I'd assume they'd like to be in control of that side of things. Perhaps you can pick up the conversation on the alpha at the forums? https://redjake.com/community/ :gj: |
fair point, I looked into that yesterday, i believe there are no NDAs, they gave permission for people to stream and record. there is an alpha build overlay so they were happy with that as far as i remember.

i have play it to .is a good game.no lag no bugs in it for me .only 2 things .i hope will be there .is coop and a map maker

Here's the good bit though - it was not bad to play in considering the distance and perhaps better than some very high end games I've played on networks in the Asia Pacific. I may have caused some typical anomalies for myself and hope I didn't affect other player's experience with things like teleporting, lagging the server etc. It means a wider ranging geosphere of players ie the Asia Pacific region can also enjoy this game with our mates in the US if the server is as robust as this one appears to be. |
noticed good performance to, pretty refreshing to put a crosshair on someone, pull the trigger and the shot registered every time. kind of like it is registering locally, i dunno how these things work. did have instances where we killed each other simultaneously, again that's pretty cool to see, where as that doesn't seem to happen in other games.

early access planned to be released on 18 Dec says "In-App Purchases" hmm /edit, had some feedback re Purchases, there is a possibility of cosmetics some time in the future. No payments to unlock features, weapons for example :gj: |
Is it health free live DF-1, 2, LW and TFD? Can player use vehicles?

ruff start
i had problems in the beginning and i posted comments about them
somewhere else but it turned out to be that my Windows 10 had messed up it was not the game...and get this my windows had messed up earlier and on a third format and windows install did the game start working as expected...it was my OS all the time...one problem was corrupt dot net the second a corrupt direct X...and time between corruptions was 10 days... |
Been really really busy, finally went to purchase a Supporter version of the game but could only find a Standard version of the game.
Am I missing something? I could have sworn ther were 2 versions... I don't mind paying extra to support it, can anybody help? |
