Very good choice. The X-box controller is just way to.... dumb. Very bad design whoever made it. The new smaller is just the same except smaller.

IMO consoles are only good for fighting games, everything else is better left to a pc.
both dead or alive 3 and mortal kombat rock on the xbox. never played tekken on the ps2, maybe it's just as good but my heavily biased mind tells me that the average ps2 game is just dumber("for less intelligent people") than the average xbox game (lets not go into pc-games here..) of course there are always exceptions, on both sides. i hope you don't think i'm saying that ps2-players are dumb, if you do, then read it again. |

Simple facts: X-Box; better machine, less games, can't play dvd's out of the box. PS2; the exact opposite of all of the above. I prefer being able to play old PS1 games with the PS2, along with new titles(GTA3, Vice City, and The Getaway to be specific, none of which are on X-Box to my knowledge) along with not having to buy a remote to watch a dvd, to having a great machine that has like 2 or 3 good games. Just my opinion. As far as X-box live, or whatever the PS2 equivalant is, PC games kick that ass. Consoles are waaay behing online PC gaming. Maybe by the time we see a PS6 or something this will have improved.

GTA-vice city has come out on xbox, and xbox live is much better than PS-experance! And graphics are much better on xbox, and much better games. Take halo for exapal, its the best game out on xbox, with GTA vice city at the top of PS2's list, it kicks the hell out of the games! For all you PS2 fans;:fu: and this ;:biteme: |

PLaystation has always had loads of games.
I found though that just as with PC games. I have the time and money only to play a few really good ones a year. PS has just that. A few really good ones a year. XBox doesnt have the marketing accumen of PS team but from my experience, the majority of console gamers are boys playing at being gamers. OO ZZ they say. I got me a console. I played for 2 and half hours solid last night!! OO I say. I played for 76 hours solid this week. Cant we talk about something we have in common??? Im just annoyed cos the bastards wont invest and come play with me. I like the fighting games. I like the adventure platform stuff you dont get on PC like Zelda and Mario (enither of whihc or available on these substandard machines) Best news for the Xbox is that Doom3 will run on it because the GForce3 it runs on is the correct DX version. But I will be running it on my Uber PC so it wont tempt me. |
Right, I said those games weren't on X-Box TO MY KNOWLEDGE. And I know the X-Box can play dvd's, buddy. But I was told not out of the box. I was told a remote had to be purchased. Could be wrong. At any rate, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and they usually stink. So, I'm not going to fight about about it. I do however, have a suggestion of what you could do with those middle fingers and shaking ass. You do the math.

IMO the sports games on PS2 are way ahead of the sports games on the BOX. XBOX it's too fast and jerky where as on PS2 the sporting gameplay is just so smooth :)
