Australian Gamers Petition
 

As some of you may know, the release of Delta Force: Black Hawk Down in Australia has been delayed until mid April, much to the disgust of many Australian Gamers. But its not only BHD that has been delayed, much awaited new release 'VietCong' has also been delayed until mid April. Aussie gamers are fed up! This has happened all too frequently! part of the reason maybe because they need to recoup some costs fro the production of the games.

main reason is export and inport to you all they have rules to follow i do beleave that Novalogic has it ready for you all only they have to export it out to you all and shipping take time do to rules they have to follow any company can tell you this what you need is extra cost to it next day shipping on top of it then also the cost for sale price has to be firgure out too for retail in your country same gose for Korea/Japan/....so on

you could have preorder it you could have in it in your hands by now.the mail asap or UPS it to you did you think about this option.yea it may cost a bet extra not much

chief: i know this for fact to get a preorded game to Australia id about $39.99 USD to FedEx it and have it in your hands in 24 hours thats as much as the game.

The simple fact is that they can produce the game here cheaper than anywhere else in the world including asia, so theres no reason that australia should Lag behind.

Yeh cheif - you still lag behind m8, and it costs more.... and we shouldnt have to pay extra to get it on time just coz we live in australia.

ok so you saying they could Branch out to your area of the world thats cool to Mfg or ask a Cd Mfg of to make them up to wholesalier in the area that would make it a lot cheaper in cost of shipping it out over there.

i have seen some game's one buy them then download them after they pay for it too. Size dose mater

I talked to my local game shop in Sydney last Thursday, 27th March. I was informed that the Australian distributors had received copies of DF BHD, and would confirm the shipping date to retail stores next (ie this) week.

I have since spoken to the staff at the same store, and they told me the Distributor informed them the ship date would be the 15th April.

How can the Aussie distributors justify sitting on it for 3 weeks. And I pre-ordered. It seems they are not even going to ship out pre-ordered stock to the stores.

It would appear NovaLogic kept their promise by releasing it on the 25th March, but it seems the Aussie Distributor did an "Adid" on it and has intercepted it like a truck load of UN food supplies.

It's my understanding that NL set the release date for the game to hit the shelves not the Australian Distributors, a release date is variant on alot of things so there may be a good reason, although releasing it close to ANZAC day seems like a bad idea to me....

Dont worry BHD is a total disapointment, Wish I did not waist the 65$ on it and if I could I would return it. There is no CO-OP mode like every othre Delta game. the single player is ok but the MP is total Crap., just play the demo as you are not getting any more. just a big piece of crap..

Its kinda funny how ppl go psycho when they find out theres no coop lol.... try vietcong for good ai and coop ;)
