Will Windows 7 even boot on Ryzen?

I am buying new components. AMD B-450 motherboard from MSI, and Ryzen 2200G processor. The thing is, the hard drives I have, are already loaded with Windows 7 64 bit. Will the system even boot with this setup, because of all the drama about support and drivers not available for Windows 7. If it does, what changes will I see and how will the functionality differ?

There are some articles out there that guide you through how to enable it.

Here is one that seems pretty extensive: https://www.anandtech.com/show/11182...-windows-7-x64

If the Win 7 installation is an O.E.M, then you can't legally do it and it will probably disable the license when it detects (altered hardware) an example is a different CPU.

If you have a full version with some installation licenses left you can do it if the motherboard controller chip supports Win 7.

You can however get Windows 10 keys on eBay for $10 or less :)
