ArmA2
couple of review vids
definatley looking pretty good. hope they lose the noise that sounds like he's riding a horse when he runs :D haha urban: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjZUQ...layer_embedded countryside: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lk-ml...eature=related |
Yeah it does look pretty cool.
I'm starting to like ArmA II's Czech-style landscapes over that washed-out grainy look OFP2 has. Here's a lot of cool SSs (a lot of first-person ones too - something I think I don't see enough of http://www.armaholic.com/index.php?c=news_arma_2). What's with the muzzle flash though not keeping up with the sound? I see it in ArmA and OFP as well - is that also realistic? ath did mention to me light does travel faster than sound so... :P |
i'll say thats just good ole video lag. happens all the time if you dont know how to use fraps correctly.
|
Looks cool, I plan on getting it and also Ofp2
|
Youtube doesnt help with the whole sound/video in sync thing..
oh and steve, i agree with the sound, but it could be comical to keep it in... :D rat-ta-tat-tat.... neigh :D lol |
Or maybe it's because you really play as a Centaur, not an actual human.

|
Fansite previews and Wikipedia say that this will be released in late June, BTW.
|
hmm, i was disappointed with the first Arma, despite it having rather nice looking screens.. hope theres a demo to try it out
|
Here are some screenies I posted:
http://wtf-squad.com/PHP-Nuke/module...ewtopic&t=2628 Oh BTW, armaholic.com posts a lot in regard to ArmA II. Check there very often. :) |

Looks mostly good.
You hear about that recent BI blog? They recently added over 100 lakes and rivers - totally awesome. :) |
got a link dood?
this game just sounds better and better all the time. just hope they release it eventually. |
I bet they release before OFP 2
|
@ Steve, http://www.bistudio.com/developers-b...-water_en.html
This game's visuals I think crap over OFP2's. I don't like the grainy graphics of OFP2. |
thanks chrispy
