As in the Angel Falls thread I was discussing Novas action on getting Cuba Libre trademarked/service marked .

They applied using priority action *basically to speed up the process*

As of 3/3/08 the info has been mailed, once recieved by the US Trademark Office and such, things will be processed further to get the mark registered.

Once the mark is registered, Nova can announce the exact proper title.

As normal, nova also has registered www.deltaforcecuba.com

Sorry to post again, but keep in mind this Cover Image is still from 2007, the cuba libre mark began registration in November of 2007 as well as the web domains.

Look for a new splash screen to contain Fidel's Brother as well, and the words Cuba Libre instead of Cuba.


Cuba Libre sounds more interesting and means more then just the generic, "Cuba"

This will be the next game that Nova brings out as they have their web domains registered for 5 years so far, most of their domains for titles that fell through were on registered for a year, such as their Blow Back , Acid Gambit etc.

Also, look for nova to throw an annoucement up or press release within the next few weeks or so giving more info. If you noticed Nova finally took that "hot" annoucement about their servers being down, which was over a month old. They are doing some updates and prepping to release more info to us really soon..

I dont give a rats ass for the name, they just need to publish a good worked out, blanced and finished game...
But looking at the past, in the first 2 months were getting a buttload of patches, thanks to the publisher for rushing it and the gamers that abuse all the stuff they can abuse..
I only would love one rule on Novaworld.. If you glitch or do some other things, you'll get banned for life.. Including your serial / MAC adress / IP and Hardware ID's..
Now those can be altered, but you need a new key for the game..

what about the unit? comming out summer 08. has a new engine and screenshots n stuff

Thats not Delta Force.. And frankly, the game of the Unit sucked.. Even on the hardest level...

i know its not a delta force game, but nova makes it, and i see alot of stuff in the screenshots that is in bhd and jo lol

Those screen shots were never confirmed by Nova to be from any particular game, although some people think it could of been from The Unit.

Assests from JO and BHD were in the screen shots, at least it looked but I think we should keep a level head and realize those shots are now in a sense old and most likely did not show the actual full capabilities of what they are working on.

If they were developing The Unit based in part with the TV show, it could be a lost project since the CBS show was cancelled.

As an added note, The show itself was based on Delta Force, so if the game were to come out it could of fallen in the Delta Force series... but who knows.. :)

Well I think we can say Nova's next game will have nothing to do with Cuba...

As of today, March 10th they Abandoned the application for getting a trademark for Cuba Libre.

It costs between $1,000 and $2,000 for what Novalogic is doing to apply to get a trademark/service mark, so I wouldn't call it all smoke and mirrors.

A few of their trademarks over the years went dead and that can add up financially. Just look at Cuba Libre, they abandoned it and it cost them about $1600.00 .

So I think we can all say that once Nova gets new trademark finally registered we are guaranteed to see the game in less then a year.

Lets hope Angel Falls gets registered and I am sure once Nova does this we will be told more info.

Just like i posted on the other thread. NL is gonna come up with a bad ass game. they are just trying to finalize it. Whatever the name would be it has to be the baddest game with all the other games around and with BHD success on xbox live they have to make sure even the name is kept secret. lol.... lets just wait....
