Is it safe?
 

I have this small carton of vodka in my fridge that's been there since mid December last year. They are unopened, so im wondering...

IS IT SAFE? to drink that is...

I dont know what else to do with them and im not one to indiscriminately throw away food/edible materials...
So yeah. After 5 months of being unopened, will they be ok to drink, or will they kill me if i do?

Carton? Not a bottle?

vodka as in liquor?

and what kindof carton is it in? paper? metal? glass?

well if it is in glass i have had some 12yr old scotch b4 and with it age just makes it better, :)

4 bottles of vodka 'cruisers' that have been in me fridge for nearly 5 months. So will it be ok to drink? I drank a month old opened bottle and it tasted fine to me...

They will be fine for consumption.

achohol usually doesnt go bad, unless it is wallmart brand that cost 1.95 per pint, lol

I've got two ornaments at home lol. One is Scotch Whisky and the other Vodka. Really old stuff and really old sheet.

The Vodka bottle... umm... the liquid inside it, kinda disintegrates lol. So I keep making jokes about my brother taking a sip of it lol.

I guess that alcohol should be fine to drink. And BTW, have you drunk it yet?

I don't think alcohol has expiry dates Imao, or do they?

well if u ask this question im gonna guess u arent of age to consume alcohol, so i suggest u dont drink it

Yeah here in Aus it does, i had to literally pour $5G worth of beautiful 15 year old single malt scotch because there was it was mislabeled by a year :(

will it counts age whiskey is great when it is age a lot same for wine as will.

can't say same for vodka? do think it may have a bigger kick after it age like 50yrs! but who can wait that long lol

I'm 18 dude, turning 19 this april, so i'd say im the age to purchase liquor. I bought this carton myself.

And no, haven't had any yet. Thats why im asking to make sure i dont make myself sick or something.

Payday, I'm gonna get me a Dirty Vodka Martini! :)

will your young so take it easy when coming to drink hard spirits ok ;)

being drunk don't make one wiser! it can turn the lady's off as will, be careful when coming to drinking ok

it's a pre-mixed drink, so yes it will go off a lot faster than a bottole of neat spirit. most bottled drinks should be ok for months, but is there no date on it?

stuff like that will go cloudy and you will see lumpy bits in it, if it's gone off. if it's reasonably clear then you'd be ok IMHO.

If it's plain old vodka it does not spoil.

Don't worry chief im a responsible person. I know when too much alcohol is too much.

I've had a good look through the glass of each bottle and it looks as fine as the day i bought it. No chunky bits or anything. But looks can be deceiving....

of course by the time everyone says something about it and you actually decide to drink it it probably will be off hehe

Lol was thinking the exact same thing :D . I would drink it now, but i have to go to work in like....40 minutes. Wouldnt want the cops to pull up someone riding a battery powered scooter with an illegal blood alcohol thingy...

remember goin to work the next day half drunk from the night before... was dreadin it until i got there and found everyone else was exactly the same hahaha! one of the funniest days of my working life!

if ur in the US its 21 isnt it? (only assuming ur in the US..)

um, well ive never heard of a carton of vodka.. lol, but as long as its still sealed then it should be fine.. after all quite a lot of alcohol drinks are "distilled" for a period of time.. vodka is one of them

if ur cautious about drinking it then dont.. go buy a newer carton..

Legal Alcohol purchasing age here in Aus is 18, consumption is not legislated though providing liquor to a minor is an offense...

here in the U.S.A Arm, force's a person can join the service at the ripe age of 17yrs old (with mom & pop ok that is), and drink all they like. even if some states outlaw drinking under 17 and below. they can drink all they like on the base buy it and drink till the heavens gates break lose.

a person has that right to die for this country fighting a war, so why not let them have all they can get out of life before they die?

they don't like drug user in the service jail time! and drunken soldiers who break the rules doing crazy things like fighting and breaking the local laws.

but still they are cool with them drinking spirits of all types.

i join the service of my own free will, but i have to think of all them who are out there should have more support (men/women power) and the US-arm force services should restart the draft back up temp-only till this thing is finish with this bull on the terrorist crap is done with.

Chief, The Marine Corps doesn't tollerate underage drinking on base or bailing you out of jail for being drunk and underage in town. I know, heh.

uk age is 18, gotta love it =) or 14 with parents consent in the home i think. some of us were lucky enough to have stubble at 17 so got into the pubs then hehe

Im amazed at how easy it is for young'uns to aquire alcohol. On my first trip to the bottle-o, i didnt even have to show ID. It was only when i asked "do you want to see my ID" that they decided otherwise. I had a shave that day, so i looked younger than i really was.

But our town is a little isolated and there are always drunke parties scattered all over the place with underage people. Not suprisingly, these turn ugly and thats why i fear travelling at night on a scooter on weekends. Its saturday, just come home from work and passed two parties. Luckily, no one was out on the street so it was a...silent night.

i can aquire a bottle of "tom collins" for 14 bucks 1.75 lter of kesslers wiskey whenever i please and im 15 :P
