Oh, and not to mention this too... I hope the new DF game doesn't HAVE POWER-UPS. It's not that I hate them, but they make the game seem arcadish. I mean, if it was a rambo game that would be fine, but this is a game where you play as DF - there should be more "realistic" and "tactical" stuff, like med/ammo packs...

hehe did you ever play GRAW? you cannot see enemy players further than 150m away!! now that's bad designing.

Scott about DFLW i love about it was:

nodes from hell, now that was sweet about DFLW and the weapons

MM1 AGL love it all to hell, its a bet hard to aim but after a time one can aim without any sites at all.

PSG-1 love being sneaky

G11 you hit them they do fly backward

M60 not too loud, but it get the job done fast

FN Mog Light, again the fire power and impact is really sweet, fire rate slower then i like

if they can make something like DFLW, like a remake of DFLW but with more weapons and better graphics i think it will be a success because i remember when NOVA used to have 1 or 2 servers for DFLW that could hold up to 64 players and they were always full

I just hate FPS's that don`t allow you to pick up other people's guns. Especially the enemy's guns. (think it was like that in BHD might be mistaken).

Yeah in BHD you couldn't pick up weapons, which was BS. That woulda been good...

yea that was nice special if you was running low on ammo, pick another weapon off the ground even if it was half loaded with ammo you still get into the heat of the battle. i hated the terrain throu DFLW it was flacky unlike DFBHD it was stable and love the grass in it beside the plants life they made.

I don't mind if the new game doesn't match graphically to some of the bigger/ new games on the market. I just hope Nova brings its fun gameplay back, with good support, mod tools, anti cheat support etc.

Ya know, it would just be nice to play a game where you don't have to shoot someone 3 times to kill them. A one shot kill should at very least be an option. Lets face it if you get shot, you are not gonna keep running around like nothing happened. The new games have taken shooting almost completely out of the picture. Most players fire a LAW at you before they result to their gun. Not to mention the scopes in the newer games are not nearly as magnified as say in DF2. I would be happy with just a complete re-make of DF2 with better graphics. Just an opinion.

ok heres my opinion now after reading everyones post after i last posted...

they need to make it like DFLW with the weapons that you can pick up other peoples weapons and the terrains like BHD

i liked the BHD and BDHTS single player missions and they should try and make it more like those

alls they really need to do is bring in all the buildings from DF1, DF2, DFLW, BHD, and BHDTS and i think it would be a killer game with some killer custom maps

After making the SO mod for DFX, DFX/SO had a close gameplay feel to DFLW. minus the crappy terrains without grass, armories and weapon pickups. So it wouldnt be hard for them to get the feel of DFLW.

think it be 8mo before they say a thing about it in details they are really slow now days doing things

I bet they only have the name chosen at this point knowing NL, they just take forever to actually produce something.

Everyone is speculating on the new title, but our theories are educated guesses considering past Nova practice.

Ive done some research on events in south america, and there is plenty of material for a game based upon drug lords, rebels, militia and the like.
