I usually call them at least every other week ,if not more ! BUT ! if you are not in the server that the cheater is in when u call , or the Nova techs are gone for the day when u call(after 5pmPST) then your pretty much outa luck on getting a cheat banned , watched or anything else for that matter, like i said ,if at 9pm there is no one there to answer the phone , it helps nothing!!!

That is why we run DFBL (Delta Force Ban List Server) on our server. it gives us the ablity to retain the ip and name of the player in question. and i'm sure NL would investigate an ip that is being reported by many, as being a cheat.

The players ip is as, if not more, important than the players name. one can change there name any time they wish. and even assume someone elses ID or teams tags, but now days static ip's are the norm. and that is more likely not going to change or can't be changed by a cheater. this makes it easier for NL or the FBI, as in a case we have appending, to locate the trouble makers.

So as a warning , be careful what you says and do while playing on line games. Don't get carried away and go over a top. becuase you can be located and may regret it. " fight nice"

Do you think everyone playing is on a static IP? I dont think so, what about dynamic IP's.

I did not says everyone. As far as static IP's go, I do stand corrected. Having a static IP is not as common as I originally stated. Sorry for the misinformation. However, although most Internet providers operate using dynamic IP's. The numbers don't change as often as you might think. You could have a dynamic IP, logon several times over the course of a couple of weeks and still have the same IP address.

I guess we have been lucky in the past, dealing with problems players, because we have always been able to track, and locate them through their IP addresses. I found out that this is because, we have personnel on our squad who have access to the advanced resources to do this.

For general information:

The advantage of having a static IP, is when hosting a web site or page, or remote pc work. The server can be found via that IP No.. However you have a dynamic IP address and are using software which requires you to find your computer remotely, you should employ an IP address updater, such as the one NO-IP.org offers. It automatically updates your IP address every 30 seconds should it change. And you'll be able to locate your computer through this service the matter what the IP is. This is a free service and comes in very handy.

I for one think this is BS and how is legal for one to go see what on my pc? They "NOVA" dont have a clue to what to do, like I said, "they need some gamers runnin the show"

man the subject is close!! what is done can not be undone, its a fact of life rules stays. keep wishing it do no good. on the other NW server have a stander Stats you can use bab stats if you like, but it will not be part of NW,com you can't lookup other members name or see there stats and other info that NW have listed up. also it better you can find cheaters name and lookup their PCID:account info and copy it down send it into NL with the cheater, and the cheater can try to change their name but you have it copy with the name they use included with their PCID: account info that will never change. and its way better then any IP# or SDL address Number the PCID No# is for life.
