Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac own or guarantee almost half of U.S. home loans.

Indymac, which is in the same line of business was just taken over this past week by the feds.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are also in trouble due to the on going housing issues.

Congress has just voted (or is in the process of voting) to make funds availble to Fannie and Freddie to help keep them from going on under.

thank god i don't have any loan on my home all paid in full for the pass 2yrs now.

banks or broker loans can be a killer! if one don't know what they are signing for.

my brother get a loan on top a loan like crazy like it only mount to 65.000 and he got 3 loans on the place to payoff the other and now if it paidoff would cost him 300.000.00

payment are way out there he loosing it do to he can't make the high payment on it now.

before they kick him out he getting a new place and the payments are way lower for the new home he getting
