that is true, i read that as well.. they are saving costs by moving to india by the looks of it (good news for euro gamers if its true)

ski is right, it will be up and down throughout periods of time, however if u use the pinger u cn still join servers in ur favourites as long as they dont reboot

I was playin this mornin (sun 3-25-07) then something froze up and I went to look at NW website and it wouldnt load so I would say they shut it down now, but I'll keep tryin. Just got this in Jan and havnt had much playin time but now Im hooked and now Im jonesin'

Beginning Sunday, March 25th, 2007, we'll be moving our Network Operating Center (NOC) from our offices in Calabasas to a colocation center in the Los Angeles area. This move will begin with a half day of non-service followed by a series of non-service periods throughout the following weeks. Some of our game titles will require you to download our free patcher utility which will modify your installed product to work in our new location. If you do not modify your installed product, it will no longer work over the internet.

The game titles that will require this utility are:

* Comanche Gold
* F-16 Multirole Fighter
* MiG-29 Fulcrum
* F-22 IBS
* Delta Force
* F-22 Lightning 3
* Armored Fist 3
* Delta Force 2
* Tachyon The Fringe *
* Delta Force Land Warrior **

* Tachyon The Fringe will no longer allow consumers to host their own game servers once it has been patched.
** Some versions of Delta Force Land Warrior installs will require it.

Download this utility now!

You can select the RUN option, or the SAVE option. You may also right-click this link and select "Save target as...". Clicking on the SAVE or Save Target As options will require you to begin the program once the download has completed.

So, it isn't India?, atleast it's not as bad as first thought, almost two weeks of complete downtime, that would've spalt disaster.

i can now instill DF: 1/2/Lw in get them going again soon

Tip for all: fully update your games first (download updates & save them) then add this new patch to redirect the game to new location to connect with novaworld servers internet address

Was dicking around and figured out how to get df2 to work for now..

Goto page listed below.....goto your browsers file...(top left)

Save page as....goto your C:....program files....novalogic.....DF2 folder.

There is a page already listed there called STARTUP.....click on that...save and overwrite...

Novas problem is they dont have enough good game ideas.I would give them some of my ideas I know would make tons of money for money in return but I know they wont pay for ideas.Too bad I am not a game designer or I know a idea for a 3rd Joint Ops that might stomp EA's butt in.I call it Joint Operations Rising Sun and it has to do with the game going more into Rebel Territory but thats all I am going to say upon my idea.Might make a better mod but then again a possible good expansion idea.

There not down completly for 2 weeks, theres just random down times 1 to 24 hrs. it was up last night when i got home from work but when i left for work that morning it was down. and this is not all the different lobbies at the same time either.

this makes it look like they close the servers to either transfer large bits of info from an old one to a new one, or they are moving that server, or even doing upgrades to it.

there not moving to india, but somewhere else in southern california.

Here's my 2 cents. DFLWdemo was taken down and will never return. I lost the games DFLW and DFX last November and could not find them in any store. I ended up replacing them through Nova on line services. If I could not find any Nova games at all that close to Christmas it tells me Nova is in need of some serious changes in the way they market their games as this surly cost them.

I cant believe its 9/april and no word yet!!!

ANy news when they are up and running? Man its been 2 weeks without my fix!!

I haven't played a nova game for a while, but the services were meant to be available at intervals, what game are you trying to play, woah, it's gone over the end date now, that's kinda sad.

Im playin BHD with no problem at all. Whats different from what you guys are doin

it ended a couple days go..

April the 6th my a**. I just went into the lobby and it did the same as usual...

I'll tell everyone the truth: they are going to finish moving all their servers in July 24th 2009, because that's when it's Armageddon day for Nova...

BTW, a few days ago I used Nova Pinger and it said it connected to NW fine, yet in BHD, doesn't work.

my BHD pinger has worked every time I've tried it, no one I know plays older DF games anymore though.
