As I understand, you can simply alter the shortcut path by adding /d at the end of the shortcut path, and just drop the file in the BHD folder. That way nothing is 'installed', and it can easily be removed.

Basically you right click on the icon, and go to properties. Then make your path:

"C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down\master.exe"/d <==for use with the master add on.

"C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down\dfbhd.exe"/d <==for use with the regular version.

If you can get it out and available to everyone then I wouldn't have a problem with it. It's the fact that not everyone has it or will have it that bothers me. That's my whole point here and at DF Arena.

Then help us out in doing this ZePPo there are the two links to both of them you have pull at DFA add them there.. Help do just that make it easyer for all to get... Unless what you are saying here is untrue

Regardless of who has it,It doesn't really matter, anyone can still call 3,6,9,12 o'clock they don't need the skin to do this, so I suppose it's pointless having it, I can't see an advantage. I'm a great believer in skins, I have a section running at DFBarracks, but the warning with the post is, some ppl regard skins as cheating. Then again, I only use skins on my home network, but turn them off for nova playing.

As stated sbove, isn't using teamspeak or similar an unfair advantage to people who don't! Just someting to think about!

it's not cheats cause zeppo's theory doesnt work.. Some one can be totally somewhere eles and say "HE IS AT 9:00!!" when the other guy is viewing from a diff direction (angle) so his 9:00 will be probley different from your 9:00... Plus your not gonna have time to Type/talk and say he is At your 9! the guy will probley be already dead before the message gets to him

SuperTex I completely agree, I dont think the compass is of much use either way IMHO. But it is absurd to call Vlad a cheat for making such a simple change.

Yep...I use the the mod just cause I like the way it looks. Even with all 4 compass points, I still yell out the wrong way! LOL...Just ask my team. It's always me yelling "He's headed West....I mean EAST EAST EAST!"

Course, I do that with right and left too, soo....

I think fx would rather I just kept quiet...heh.

Oh..and by the way...

I will never buy another Novalogic game. They burnt a bridge when they hamstring'd our server over that "we dont write our server code to be modified..." bullsh!t and hid the servers using a mod for player quantity.

They are ALWAYS at LEAST one step behind the people that care about the game, and the only way they can catch up is to pull some whiny-assed crap like they did yesterday.

If you are gonna kill my Master Add On-driven 26 player server, then you better damn well have a replacement...NOT THE PROMISE OF ONE IN THE NEAR FUTURE! Get the damn update out or leave our servers alone. You have our money already...what the hell else do you WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait for Doom III or Half-Life2......
