DFX - MP MOD v 0.7

Hey all,
I fixed some stuff from the previous version(s), also I noticed the weapons in v.63 was not properly adjusted, so hopefully, this can atleast fix that Kitty {MEOW} is working on the DF2 terrains, that can be released later once it's 100% ok. Hopefully I don't need to update this mod in a while, so I can join you guys in the server. Credits and info can be found during installation
Overall, I hope you enjoy this Mod!

Installation:

Make sure you copied your Original DF:X folder! Do not install into the original DF:X folder!

Some of you may may wonder if you need the older versions of the mod for this to work. That isn't neccessary, just follow these steps:

-Copy your DFX: folder. Paste it into the Novalogic folder. Name it to whatever you want. Now you have two DF:X copys.One is the original, one is for the Mod.
(If you already have a Mod folder just overwrite again lol.)

-Next, make sure that these three files are in the Mod folder:

localres.pff
resource.pff
language.pff
-Now, run installer. Choose your Mod folder as the directory to install in, NOT the original DF:X folder!

-ONCE the file is done packing, you can continue.

-Then a check box shows "Clean up DF:X Mod folder". MAKE SURE that is checked.

-And then a dialog box pops up and asks if you want to Uninstall the Mod.
Now that may sound stupid (like "I just installed the Mod! IDIOT INSTALLER!!!!), but trust me, I tried changing that text but to no avail, so we're stuck with that. What it means, is that it will delete the temporary files that was extracted to your Mod folder. That's why you must have the "Clean up DF:X Mod folder" check box checked. If you don't do this, you will have problems. I'll say again, it will NOT delete the Mod you just installed, it will NOT delete your Mod folder, it will NOT replace Windows with Tiger OS, it will NOT.....(I think you get the point lol).

-Finally, you can click "OK" once it's done cleaning up, and that's about it! (Whew!)

I know this is insane, but that's the only way to do this if you want to play the Mod online on Public servers that host them. The easiest way to installing the Mod only let's you play with the AI bots, which in due time you'll find that owning that bot from 2000M really isn't fun at all. I hope this made sense!

Dont wanna start a flame, but stay of of the products... I hate all the mods..Seen it with DF2 on some servers you needed them to play, that just sucks imho.

Well wicked MOD, if your interested BCE have set up three servers of which one of them is for the MOD.

BCE MOD Server. Nice one guys, especially with the SOPMOD and only one small amusing thing, you spelt owned pwned.

I would just like to say I do not understand novalogic (does anyone), they give you an amoury in the items in the N.I.L.E. but no way of actually using it in-game. Anyone know if I am being a NooB about this or is it just strange. I think they should lissen to some feedback.

Great Mod!

Knowing most of the df-gamers love old scope in the upper right corner, I would appreciate same scope-version as used in BHD or JO - means fullscreen - like you did at the M4-SOPMOD -scope. Nevertheless a great work of Yours, so I hope You continue with modding.

i think he talking about joining a mod server you can't tell who running a mod and what the mod name is to play in that server.

if you try to join a server and the host is running a mod and a player trys to join in the server he will get a error message and would really think the game is really lame and no good to play.

why people need a mod to play a new game i don't have a clue, why can't they wait a year after the game is finish and novalogic is done with it.

MOD are mainly to breath new life to a old game to keep it a live. not to give others error messages.

i love mods like every one do, but jumping for a mod when the game is new still is real low it may even kill it totally at this point.
