Sig Backgrounds

Im new to sig making and all,recently got adobe phtoshop 6,is there any other way to get cool background besides searching the internet and all,i know you can make them yourself but how??
I've seen people do amazing things with backgrounds and all so if your really good and got a few tips add me on msn

be creative...
have a look at some stuff, and practice trying to make it, after a few goes youll be able to do it and you should be going good...
thats what i did when i started on psp7 :)
now im into ps6
