I’ve updated the most recent release of the DFLW mission editor (the unlocked one by DV). The changes I’ve made are mainly UI ones (tiding up dialog layouts and adding mnemonics), but I’ve also enabled the Blink Group Stats dialog and other little enhancements such as the Integrity Check. These may have been present anyway on your version, but for some reason mine didn’t have the menu items present. Another thing I did was to add a few more labels to the complex dialogs so it is easier for beginners like me to use them (such as the ‘metres’ and ‘cm’ labels in the item position group box - yes I know their not technically cm's, but 256ths of a metre wouldn't fit.

This adds dozens of DF2 objects including vehicles to DFLW. 7 New terrains are also added. Beta version. Everyone that wants to play on maps made by this mod, must have this mod installed.

This collection of DFTFD items collated, created and transfered by.... Eagle Eye, DR.EVIL~TAG, and Hairy.

Included are some items supplied by Novalogic, in DFLW and DFTFD, but never activated, so we activated them. Also included are some reskinned items as new med items.

Also transferred are the Waypoint names, Some Win and Lose Conditions and People names, along with a few custom ones as well.

How to use the Dialog Editor created by DV

EXP2F1 brings more terrains, missions, sounds, objects and, the Kalashnikov AK47.

New smooth terrains, tall grass terrains and, a load of new multiplayer maps and, updated GUI gives the old dog a new lease of life.

This is a total makeover for DF1. It includes new objects, new terrains, reworked stock terrains, a new GUI, new sounds, new weapon options, and more!

It includes the no CD patch and requires a large install first.

Below a list of the things I tested
-general information
-No Voxels Select this if you don't want DF to render voxels, this is only useful on underground missions since DF still loads the height map
-Dialog File If you want to use a soundfile in your mission type the name (without extension) in the "Dialog File (*.dbf)" box on
the General information window
-Item Atrributes
-Blink Group tunnel parts that are linked need to have the same blink group so you can actually see the whole tunnel, not only 1 part
The entrance of the tunnel has to be the Parent (if parent is not selected,you cannot see it until you walk in it)
If you want to link 2 blink groups, select a tunnel part that is linked to a part of the 2nd blink group,
go to Item atrributes and enter the # of the second blink group in the Group B box. Do the same thing with the part from the 2nd blink group.
do this with corners and staircases.


Events are selected the normal way

some text shows up as "Bad texttool string" on the Events window

converts a .bin file to a .txt file

TXT2BIN.EXE
converts a .txt file to a .bin file

converts a rtxt file to a .txt file

CBIN2TXT.EXE
converts a cbin file to a txt file

Tools from DareHacker:

lwfbuilder
allows you to make .lwf files that are used by the game to play sounds.
It is also able to convert the .lwf to a .txt file.

BFCTool.exe
commandline tool to decompress and compress various files (.wav, .dds etc.)

Tools from DV:

BHD2JO_3DI
converts a BHD 3di file to a 3di file that can be used in JO.

usage:
- check "Convert PANM" if your 3di does not show up or crashes the game.
You should only check it when converting weapons.

limitations:
- does NOT convert 3di files that have bones in them (GPP header)
- does NOT convert light data
- does NOT convert 3di's with multiple rotating subobjects properly

DPTH2CDEP
compresses the raw depthmap of a .cpt terrain file so that it can be used in JO.

DeSCR
encrypts and decrypts files with a 'SCR' header used by Novalogic games.
