An Australian was invited to see a performance of a famous ventriloquist and took his assigned seat and waited.

The curtain goes up and the audience applauds.

The ventriloquist presented Australian jokes over and over again. The audience loved it... except for one... All through the performance he sat in his seat as the level of anger increased... He could take no more...

Waiting for a lull in the laughter, the Australian, jumping to his feet yelled, " I am sick and tired of sitting here while you constantly make out that Australians are either stupid or worthless!!"

The ventriloquist replies, "I'm terribly sorry sir. It was not my intent to cause any offence, after all, it's all in good fun."

The Australian, still fuming under his collar, responds, "No. Not you. The little guy on your knee!!"
