How do i edit stock maps?

I've been playing in servers and noticed that people have made really cool maps with just adding new things to stock maps. How do I do this?

DFBHD only?
Steps:
1.) PFF extracter 7
take files out of pff files, edited them using the item below.
you have to lookup bms files.

DF:BHD>file: localres.pff
DF:BHD-TS>Files: EXP1.PFF
you find the maps in.

then:
2.) BHD/TS BMS To MIS Converter (only one listed)
it takes a normal map (bms make it into mis to be edited)

Recognises the items from TS as well..whereas the 2.00i does not.

i think you can use it for both ether BHD or BHD-TS not 100% on that, but it is the one i been using.

basic you use the "Pff Utility" lookup the game folder see the pff file you like to lookup these maps in, you highlite the map (BMS) take them out (do not delete them) then change these over to mis files were you can use the map editer to make changes to them then save them as bms files, the use the "Pff Utility" to pack them back in, after your done. now host them.

remember you have to pack them back into the same pff file were they came from or place them into the game folder to use.

once i extract all of the files... then what do i do with them. Theres like 10,000 lol.
