NHQ Tournament Season IV & V: Update!

Ladies and Gentlemen. We are in our closing weeks of Tournament Season IV. We've had a long hard fought season. Many Semi-Finals and Finals are being played within the next couple of weeks. All Champions will be announced after confirmation of all final results. We may have some NHQ records broken so keep an eye on the Hall of Fame. The talent this Season has been some of the best I've seen in a long time. Thank you all for participating and congratulations to all our winners. They all deserve to be recognized.

Season V is just around the corner. There will be a few changes implemented. Including less bracket positions for each event. We are reducing our bracket positions to the maximum of 8 spots per event. So if you and your squad or sniper team are looking to get into Season V, keep an eye open for early registration.

We will be supporting the following Games and Game types in Season V:

Do you have a say so of what NovaHQ does in the future? Yes, you do!

NHQ wants to support all games and game types for all the NovaLogic PC game titles by organizing and managing seasonal tournament events from DF1 to JO:E. We want to make you, the gamer happy and support you and your squads for the years to come.

If you think you can round up 2,4,8,16, or 32 squads, teams or players for 1vs1, 2vs2 or 8vs8 events. Tell us about it. Request a tournament for your favorite game and game type. Do some recruiting and assist us in filling up the bracket positions. We will consider each request and possibly implement your ideas into our current or later seasons.

You do have a say so in our community and we want to hear from you. So don't be lazy, play with some ideas and share them. We will listen. I am sorry that some of you will not be able to defend your titles but a couple of events just didn't have enough support to continue. But if you can round up enough to play in Season V, let me know and we can possibly work something out.. Thank you all for your support! . -Trojan

Hey Trojan... not many tournaments for DF:BHD-TS. How about a 1 vs 1 Sniper Tournament. I would definately sign-up for that. Just a suggestion, since 1 vs 1's are easier to schedule than 2 vs 2's. Please consider this suggestion. You never know... it might go well. Thanks,

Hey all at NOVAHQ.
Im Vez and im new to your site (which looks really cool btw) and were intrested in playing in your tournies in the BHD and BHD.TS games with upto 2v2(this may increase to 4v4).
Can sombody help me to make sure i have done everything correctly, im confused with the anti-cheat prog i cant find one to support BHD/TS, and is there anything else i have to do so were ready for the new season ?....vez out.

How about a DFLW 2vs2 TDM tourney? gunner and sniper I'm sure lots of people will signup for the 2vs2 gunner.

Veterans Of Conflict is interested in joining the TDM 2v2 Tourney... With only 4 slots available, does that mean there would only be 2 games played in total by the victors??

Hey troj. I can get everyone from my squad to sign up individually for the tournament. That's about 5 or 6 people. I know maybe 5 or so others that would be interested in doing it also. If you do decide to do a 1 vs 1 Sniper tourney can you do it for DF:BHD & DF:BHD-TD. Thanks 4 a great 4th Season. I'll be back for more championships.

suggestion for DFX TKOTH

alot of the maps in DFX TKOTH are heavily slanted blue and/or are horrible on lag for a USA vs Euro match

a few of them are not bad however

if TKOTH in DFX is best of 3 then the following maps I have found to be even for both sides and not too bad in a USA vs Euro match

Hamburger Hill, Valley Of The Kings, Meatgrinder

or possibly the best way is to allow blue team the server for all DFX events but allow red team to choose the first map and third map of a best of 3 and the blue team to choose only map 2

You should make tournies for USA & for Europe to help fight the problems of time zone differences

Back when I was the Revolutionary Pioneer in the Community. I owned and operated a very well known and popular site that had world renowned tournaments. We had 2 Divisions. Western Division for the Western Hemisphere and Eastern for the Eastern Hemisphere. They both won Division Championships and went into the Rankings and Hall of Fame and they we held a World Championship. Both squads, teams or players both served making the lag fair for both. The squad with the least points, time out or flags served the 3rd match tie breaker if needed. The tournaments were always full. We had 120+ different Country's visiting everyday and many were participating. Our forums weren't a huge success by volume but every forum I had served it's puropse gratefully and they were busy! We had many many things that most sites have today. We helped set a standard in the NovaLogic Community. I didn't get to become admin of NHQ for my looks. I've got time into the entire picture!

now days though there arent enough squads
