Well, I've spent the best part of 2 years at DFB supporting the members, giving help, creating downloads, mods, and tutorials....

I've been admin there for about a year, and have nearly 5000 posts, all todo with gaming..no spam in my posts..

Now, looks like I've wasted my time..and I'm about to loose everything I've worked on for these 2 years...and it's not even my site..

I'm a little peeved as you may tell..Steve..do you need a slighlty Used Admin Guy..LOl...

It seems a bit of an extreme reaction to me shutting down DF barracks over an election that the people decided democratically. I hope it continues to run for the sake of it's members.

I thought DFB was a gaming site not some politics website..
Im a brit so im not really bothered about who wins but i prefer bush. A.Bullet used to be alright a nice, sensible person from what i saw...

BUT BANNING PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY DONT SUPPORT WHAT HE DOES

thats just crazy and he doesnt deserve to run a site like that if hes going to do that kinda stuff..

technically he banned them for personally attacking him (abusing an owner of a site is not usually taken lightly), the user titles were given to vent some anger i believe.

Things sort of got out of hand over at dfb yesterday, AB closed the site and mapdb in protest to Bush winning the election, some people figured that was highly inappropriate, even though he as the owner had every right to do so. Then a rant evolved, and he started banning people mostly because they attacked him on his action to close the site down, and also the ''kill bush'' line..

Anyway - things have cooled down now.

personally i dont see how or why he tied his Delta Force site to the presidental eleciton...closing the site for 'protest'? tell me 1 important person that is going to see that he closed it and care? no one.

DF and politics are two seperate things....why combine them?

With all due respect Varq, in the middle of all of this nonsense AB said himself that he purposely created the "Kill Bush" and other messages in order to identify the Bush supporters and then ban them. He didn't ban people because he was personally attacked, he's saying that now for spin control.

The fact is he attacked all of us FIRST, and he sort of threatened the President FIRST. Now he's saying it's his website and we didn't have the right to respond to his outrageous actions so we have to apologize in order to get unbanned. Well he'll never get an apology out of me because I didn't do anything wrong and I'm not sorry at all.

I'm happy to take up residence here at NovaHQ if they'll have me, LOL.
