Yep me newbie too. I've found out G11 no scope. It's only blockin your sight. Take CQB character, is faster. G11+knife run around forward and backwards. Turn quickly every once in a while. Jump strafe when 1 on 1. But nbest thing to do is kill the sucker who wants to take you out Haha

When I first started all I thought of the SAW was that it was less accurate and less powerful than the mag.
I was a MAG user everytime but eventually I found that the SAW is the best compromise between Lightweight high speed use and a decent sized clip.
In a CQB map if I am CQB specialty I will start with G11 but if the ping is poor move to SAW.
Generally I use gunner though, I know its slower but with the vest you can take a heck of a lot more hits as you grind down your flitty jumping, calico toting CQB opponent, and pop him upside his head with one nicley aimed SAW click.

The Barrett Model 82A1 rifle gained worldwide popularity after pioneering the return of shoulder fired big-bore rifles for shooting enthusiasts. As a result of its unique operating cycle, the M82A1 easily fires the largest commercially available cartridge in the world, the .50 caliber. Yet, the Barrett M82A1 develops the lowest recoil force of any comparable rifle.
The M82A1 operates on the short-recoil principle. Founder Ronnie Barrett adapted this operating principle to a shoulder fired rifle. The recoiling barrel and bolt assembly acting against innovative spring and buffer assemblies replace the sharp recoil impact with a longer-acting lower recoil force. To further reduce the recoil load, the M82A1 is fitted with a dual chamber muzzle brake. The muzzle brake redirects high velocity gun gas to lower recoil by almost 70%. The net effect is a rifle with the felt recoil of a 12-gauge shotgun.

With these time-proven methods and innovative designs, the Barrett M82A1 offers safety, rugged durability, and reliability to the big-bore enthusiast.

BTW Baddog,
knifing gives you 3 point, while shooting gives only 1. With CQB char you run a little faster so with cqb and knife in your hand it's easier to catch up an opponent and be a bad backstabber. Oh and killing yourself is -1 (beware of clays an grenades in short range).
And take kevlarvest. Very unlikely in CQB to need extra ammo and it slows you down. Kevlar isn't that effective in cqb (most bullits go tru it in short distance) but makes you faster and still some long range shots will not penetrate.
MAch

BTW As newbie even in other games i use Kevlar caus till now i never ran out of ammo b4 droppin down with my nose in the dirt. Maybe in time when i find myself out of ammo more, I ll take extra ammo. Maybe next year Hahaha

Delta Force: LW
Kill = 2 points
Head shot = 3 points
Knife = 4 points.

Ertra ammo wont slow you down at all. Kevlar dosent help in CQB and I havent seen a diff since I switched to extra ammo, so I dont think it does anything...

I read this on DFLW lobby:

Deathmatch Scoring:
Kill friendly (Team only) -4
Kill yourself -1
Killed by opponent 0
Kill opponent +1
Kill opponent with head shot +2
Kill opponent with a knife +3

That's not right?
