phUploader db instead of cookies

Hi. Great site and good work!

Well looked through and search the forums for this but can't find it.

Im new into developing design and php.
But i have started with this upload script and it works. But i dont like the cookie thing. I want the function to login [enter password] to upload the file(s)
then a [X] to logout. Without any cookie.

I guess i have to make a db for it?, the server is located on a good serverpark (webhost).

I have service for mysql how do i do?

This is possible to do but will requier a bit of work to get working with a database. You may be able to use transparent php sessions (search google) but i'm not to good with them as I perfer cookies myself. You will get into security conserns when you use transparent sessions though.
