yes it was designed for multiplayer use on large maps, its a 43mb download, so as you can tell its quite a basic mod, its got some fun features, like flyable jet aircraft, destroyable buildings, but stays within the parameters of the basic game, so anyone can still join and play mod or not, but of course the non mod users wont experience the game in quite the same way.

But why didn't you leave the SP even though it didn't come with SP missions? People can just play the stock missions with the mod weapons, lol.

you can host it like lan after you log-in then you play it like SP-mission with a lot of weapon to use toboot. i play the sp mission that way get around it. you can test maps that way.

Ps you can make new maps too.

put password in if you like to play it safe no outsider

i made a whole new folder totally and copy all things into it then instill the mod into that folder name it "DFxtreme xo" then moded that folder leaving the stander game be.

i know the sp mission you would be able to save as you play the game but they did not go that way sad

could not to get to fire:
Javelin would not shotoff a round at all. aim nice but thats it
only bug i seen

the full version is patched with the update, no need to get it, the update is for the demo version.

I checked the stingers, and javelins they seemed to be working ok for me, but if you experience the same issues again let me know so it can be addressed.

but some times i don't get you guys? snow moble?


what is this about a snow moble replace the dirt bike
why could you leave the dirt bike as is and added in the snow moble into it? gee

now every one maps going to be all mix-up, no arm force would use a snow moble on dirt path dry area. blades would break in a heartbeat. beside falling off a hilltop from very high it would break apart faster then a dirt bike would.

i mean i really don't think the U.K or U.S Army would ever go for that, we could ask KB US-Army or Steve-UK for a heads up on this or even mike in AUS as will.

i mean the ground would be full of rocks and other item that would break them 2-blade in front right off.i would leave the dirt bike in and added the snow moble in as a extra item for map maker to use on snow terrain type maps.

lol the snowmobiles had been brought to my attention, it was just something that got over looked from the demo to full version changes in the mod. rest assured it is going to be changed. *dfx demo is played on snowbase map, so was ok on there. look for a small 3-6 file patch in the next week, maybe even throw the sp option back in for you Chris.

so this mod was really was base on the demo then the retail version.

man thats a bet backward some do make mod for the demo to get around buying it, but most only make mods for the full version game only.

will i keep on trying out some more

I have a small problem, I have used the XO mod on the demo version and I love it! I have tried using it on the full version and far as I get is "waiting to join server" when trying to enter a server, it justs locks up and stays there. I have tried reloading it a few times and same problem. I noticed when it is doing the patch, it says it cannot find these files:

C:\program files\novalogic\delta force xtreme\*.def
C:\program files\novalogic\delta force xtreme\*.ptl
C:\program files\novalogic\delta force xtreme\*.dds
C:\program files\novalogic\delta force xtreme\*.mdt
C:\program files\novalogic\delta force xtreme\*.mnu
C:\program files\novalogic\delta force xtreme\*.bin

I am kinda thinking that this might be the problem, why it can't find them I have no idea, hopefully someone here does.

basic i think it was made for the demo only then later on they say it will work for the full version! but never known if there going tobe any bug clash with files in it.

till they patch it for the full version don't use it, till they fix all the bug in it.

demo was never meant tobe use in this this way.

most take the full retail version make mods for it not the demo, but there always a first lmfao

to me making a mod for a demo is like trying to make a whole new game out of it is being cheap not buying the full version of a game.
