5 long beep CPU red flash

Hi

my computer got broken a day ago i think you guys can help. my cpu beeps 5 times and one long pause and does it again. i have no RAM installed anyway i looked at the cpu and theres no ram. i hope you guys can help...

Typed on NextBook,Tablet

BTW i can still see this community cos i can visit this site on my SmartTV BUT i miss my computer, i fear of formating it well i do have the CD but it is sort of .......corrupted.

Who is your computer manufacturer ex. DELL,LENOVO,HP etc.

5 beeps usually means a processor error. Unfortunately, this is bad news. You can check your memory cards and make sure that are all securely inserted. However, if they are and that did not fix the problem, you will need a new motherboard. Its probably time to get a new computer.

Since this is a motherboard problem and not a hard drive problem, you should be able to take the hard drive out of your old computer and get the information off of it that you want to keep.

Also identify your processor and motherboard and tell me which one are they.

cpu hp, motherboard by hp,the com says i have 2ram installed,proccesor is iether nvidia or amd my mothersay its aboat the motherboard yea ur rigth

CMOS could be it as well. Replace it.
