I don't seem to have any issues with steam though, everything seems to be working fine for me. Seems like a lot of the issues revolving graphics and what not could be resolved by doing a clean install of your graphics drivers using:

Which will completly remove your graphics drivers for a fresh install. Then disable Windows from automatically downloading driver updates:
