You can play AAS in Single Player and it's fun because you have to take over the PSP's (PSP = Progressive Spawn Point) before the enemy bots do.
Once at the PSP you haven't got it yet, you have to hold it for a fair period of time- in the meantime this gives time for bots to swarm the PSP's as you take them, creating reasonable scenarios.
