Hi, really glad to see you here but not so good to hear you have a problem already.
Just in case it's a bogyman of yore, try troubleshoot compatibility and setting Windows 8 or XP
If it's a no go with that, try reinstalling the game outside of secure program folders.
Example:
C\Games\Novalogic\etc...
or
D\Programs\Novalogic\etc...
