Editing JO stock maps with NILE
 

Hey,

there are tons of guides how to create maps with NILE, but I cannot seem to find an information whether it is possible to edit stock JO maps with NILE?
For example I'd like to edit TKOTH Flooded Village. Is there a place I can find this map and do whatever I want with it in NILE?

flooded village is TDY_G1A in that zip but the map was made with a med not nile however.

cool. funny how nova only made 1 map with nile in jotr. most were escalation maps(i think they did 8) all other were made with a med. lol.

When I was a Nova contract mapper for DFx2 I remember a guy in our meeting over TS that used NILE. I spoke with him after our meeting with Brent, Nova's lead design mgr, and he told me over TS that he never learned how to use the Med editor. He was a good map designer and seemed like a decent enough guy.

i always thought it was strange that NL was pushing nile to be the default mission design program but they didnt reall make multiple maps until escalation came out.
