that would be sweet, also things like customising cars, actual houses (full walk around thing)

buy items like food ect. be able to start a business selling houses and land :)

and more damage realism to cars.

And a plane :)

bb, there are planes, bb, there are houses that u can go in and nick their tv's (LOL) and sell em on the street, bb, u can customize cars with skirts, big bumpers, alloys, exhausts and nitrous :D

just heard from the shop i pre ordered it from that it may not be out til next year (they heard thru a back door) becuz its not finished yet...... now i hope this aint true, cuz i been waiting pretty nice for this!

I heard it was due for release on 28th October bro and I am so looking forward to it:)! If it's any where as good as Vice City it will be a classic game:)!

but to add my view to the thread:
i totally dislike this (or GTA3/VC). the gameplay isn't my style at all, but that's not what bothers me (i just don't play it then).
but what i absolutely dislike about these games is that they're
a) glamorizing crimes
b) VERY popular
i don't have a problem with either one of those, but in combination they look different. i don't think there will be many 15-year-olds stealing cars and crashing them into army bases or whatever, what bothers me is that due to the huge popularity and presence in the media it's sort of shaping the image of us fellow gamers.
what i'm trying to say is that i get mad when someone (who doesn't know me that well) thinks it's funny to say to me stuff like "why didn't you brake for the old lady? i thought she's worth 50 points" because they think that's what i do

man i could rant hours about this, btu i just can't find the words ;)

dont they rant and rave if u ever murder sum1 on bhd ? or any other df game? or if u jump off a 10 ft wall and survive and they say u didnt die? ;) ;)

anyway san andreas rules, u can do lots in it :D

thats what makies the game so good, u can actual try it without killing yourself etc,

now i dont no ya too well, but i dont really think that u wud jump off 20 ft buildings if u were in the army knowing that u will survive ;)

I have to say I agree with Storm on this one mate. San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto:Vice City may be violent games but they in no way encourage anyone to go out and emulate what they see in the game.

They are just that....games nothing more and nothing less, set in a fictional world where no one really gets hurt and it's a great way to get rid of your day to day frustrations without hurting anyone or doing any damage and all games players surely realise this?

There have been many discussions over the last few years about the effect computer and console games have on individuals but there is little if any proof of these games adding to the violence present in our societys.

Don't read to much into them and just try and enjoy them for what they are....games.

yep same here, the amount of times ive killed some1 on gta vc , bhd , jo, battlefield, far cry , halo ect. it doesnt encourage me to do these things or attempt to. I think it makes u more aware in a way of how leathal weapons can be and are.

a game is meant to be fun, not to be taken too seriousely for real life etc, altho i do like the occasional moan when sum1 doesnt die :D lol

you know that, i know that, but most people don't. i think games like this drastically lower the general public opinion of gamers. (BHD not so much, because it's not that widespread, consoles etc)

also don't want to offend anyone, that's just how i feel about it

I hear what your saying bro but I don't think that everyone out there has that bad a view of gamers in general.

Most games are violent to some degree or other and most sensible gamers just play them to relax and forget their day to day problems and of course you do get to make a lot of new contacts and mates on line gaming:)!!!!

PS2 is limited to what you can do with any type of games. when they play with a PS2 Vs Computer user online when they say how can they have a car with things on it when they don't have the same option to use. not talking about the cheating that is going on ether.

seen many times they cry about it. a computer user can add more to the game when the PS2 have to play with what they have.

Computer system (OS) is fully working system were you can add to it and make changes to the game.

PS2 is a game console only you are limited to what you can do with it.

personnaly i think PS2 should not even play online with computer user. not on even ground there.
should be PS2 Vs PS2 only same with Computer system
