I eventually got it running on mine. I forgot to update my graphics drivers which is an absolute must

I'm still getting used to it, and it has been a few months since i played the original so it's hard to compare. I'll leave that to you Steve (would be appreciated).

omg, that is fast, I'm DL'ing it now, my comp crashed at 450mb completed :/, so I played some BHD for a while

i got it downloaded, i just played it for 10 seconds because my parents were home and im grounded from shooting games. so im gonna w8 till they go to sleep:fu:

k my parents are asleep and i tryied it out for real, i turned the settings all the way down and it still runs like a pig :/ but my parents said that they'll get me another gig of ram in a couple of months.

started the download before i went to bed last night. got up this morning, got ready, went and had my driving lesson, came back, the download had timed out at 80% lmao, gonna try again now and hope i have better luck

6 flippin times now ive tried to download it from that faster link u provided steve, and it keeps crashing... once more ill try then i think ill wait for release lol

i dint download from stevie's linky, i got it fom ubi demselfs.

i went through it with the settings up and that didnt help so it is the RAM that i need.

I DL'ed from gamershell, worked fine here.
I tried it, wasnt really my style of gaming, it was kind of like FSW, giving orders, overhead map was cool though, like bf2's commander mode :).
Anyway, i dont know what the settings were on cos i uninstalled it when i stopped playing, but it lagged a little for me, not a huge amount.
Also, when i exited the game, my desktop colours went fluorescent, :S.
Gas, try opening it with winrar, the zip file kept giving me errors

one question, when i go ram shopping, does the ram have to be the exact same as the other ram i got?

Yep, most computers have ddr400, is that right ? :D

yup, most computers nowadays are using ddr400, tho some slightly older ones are still using ddr333.

just to confuse things... no u dont need the exact same RAM :)

use http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php to find out what you have though, as it is benefirical to match RAM. (small proggy, doesnt install)
